What is health?

For me, health is more than just the absence of illness; it's a dynamic state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. It's about feeling and functioning at your best every day, in every aspect of your life. Health isn't a one-size-fits-all concept; it's about understanding and addressing each individual's unique needs, from inflammation and cardiovascular health to mental and environmental factors.

I believe in looking beyond conventional health markers, striving to guide individuals toward optimal well-being by assessing and addressing root causes rather than merely managing symptoms. I then assess what you need to push on with your goals for the following week, identifying what’s going well that you just need to remain consistent with, and providing you with solutions to any obstacles that come up.

Empowerment Calls

These are group calls on Zoom taken by me each week, to learn about a new topic, bring your frequent questions, and connect with other like-minded members who may have similar goals and challenges to you.

Breakthrough Calls

We’ll process your onboarding, and upon receiving your completed intake form, I’ll create your initial plan within 5 working days, to cover your training, nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle habits, in a way that focuses on building simple daily habits that we measure and keep track of throughout your journey.

When can I begin my program after I sign up?

Your program begins as soon as it is shared with you by us, within 7 days of your completed payment, or otherwise on a specific date agreed between you and us.

What makes AP Health & Performance different from other programs?

Our whole service is focused on long-term health and wellbeing, even in the pursuit of getting into the best shape of your life, and reclaiming your confidence. We have combined over 10 years of high-level experience and success in Personal Training, together with the valuable and holistic approach of Functional Medicine, to bring the very best knowledge and expertise to each individual client, their physical and mental health, their self-confidence and quality of life. How will you personalise my program?

Our highly extensive onboarding questionnaire takes 'personalisation' to a whole new level, by assessing deeply your goals, past & present activity, nutrition, lifestyle, health concerns, nutrient deficiencies, and overall physical and mental health.

How much time do I have to commit to the program?

To get maximum results, the minimum time commitment you must make is 3x 45-minute weight training sessions and 8,000 steps a day. You must also commit the necessary time to complete a full weekly check-in to report your progress to your coach, which should take an average of around 10 minutes of your weekly time, and communicate as necessary to facilitate the coaching process.

How intense is the training plan?

The intensity and complexity of any training will be carefully calculated according to your needs and wants. Our aim is for you to enjoy the training you do, and keep up with it in the long-term as a lifestyle choice, so we won't push any type of training that you don't want to do. On the other hand if you want more intense training and this is in alignment with your goal, then we will happily program your training accordingly.

Which diet will I have to follow?

Your nutritional guidance will be planned according to your requirements communicated in your onboarding questionnaire, and to support your health and performance goals, never at the cost of these.

Do I have to take supplements?

We generally recommend everyone to take 3-5 specific vitamin, mineral, or herbal supplements to support general health & wellbeing, in some rare cases this can be up to 10 supplements but only for specific health concerns identified with lab testing.

How will you check if my exercise technique is correct?

With your training program, you will have a video demonstration for each exercise to explain the correct technique for you to follow. We also ask that you share 3+ exercise videos of yourself every week, with any exercises that you are unsure of, so that it can be critiqued for you to perform the exercise safely and efficiently.

How quickly will I see results?

Clients usually notice results within their first 2 weeks and continue to lose around 10% of their body weight after their initial 12 weeks, but of course this totally depends on your individual goal, capabilities, commitment, and any health concerns.

Is the program-cost negotiable?

No, the program is fairly priced according to the quality of service, level of experience, invested education, and past record of positive results. An average Personal Trainer charging HK$500 per session will cost you HK$6,000 for 12 sessions per month. An average private medical consultation and treatment plan often adds up to 5x that amount at around HK$30,000. With AP Health & Performance you can achieve life-changing results for a fraction of that price.

Is the program available globally?

Yes, we've successfully coached clients online from a timezone 12 hours behind in the USA, all the way to our location in Hong Kong and are available worldwide.

Can I do a free trial?

Who will I be coached by?

This will exclusively be by Ajay

What contact support will I have during the program?

Professional communication is available at any time via email, within the private Facebook community, and within any mobile coaching apps used. Official business hours of replying are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (GMT +8), and can be expected within 48 hours of your latest contact, although communication is often made outside of these hours and usually within a few hours.

I'm very busy and travel a lot for work. Can I still work with the program?

Yes, our clientele are largely busy professionals who often travel for work, and also juggle family life along with their own personal goals. Our coaching is aimed to help people exactly like you who are time-strapped and need help with making the most of the time they have.

What happens to my plan when I travel for work or holidays?

This program is focused on life-long health and wellbeing, which includes during travel, so we will advise you on how to adapt following your plan during travel whether for work or leisure, in a way that is both convenient for you and in alignment with your goals.

What if I get injured during the program?

Your plan will be designed with respect to any past or present injuries, in order to strengthen the area and prevent any further future injury. If you get injured during the program, the program can be adapted to help your recovery and continue to progress with your main goals.

What if my personal circumstances change and I cannot continue with the program?

The initial 12-week commitment cannot be paused or postponed for any reason, but after this period you may pause your coaching for a maximum of 1-month within a 3-month period, with 30-days written notice via email.

How do I cancel my program after my initial 12-week commitment?

In your 12th week, you will be asked if you wish to continue with coaching on a monthly basis. If you do not confirm your wish to continue, then your program will end. If you do continue and later wish to cancel, then 30-days written notice via email must be given. For example if your monthly payment date is on 1st March, and on 5th March you email us wishing to stop as soon as possible, your final payment will be taken on 1st April and your coaching program will end on 30th April.

Do I need a gym membership or equipment?

Your training plan can be made to suit you, to be done in a gym, outside, or at home. We can recommend home-equipment for you to acquire based on your goal, the space you have, and the amount of equipment you want to invest in.
